This goal presents one of the major challenges facing Iraq due to political, economic, and security conditions that have negatively impacted agricultural production and food supplies. Additionally, climate change and limited water resources have further complicated the ability to provide sufficient and nutritious food for all citizens.<br /><br />To overcome these challenges in Iraq, it is essential to adopt modern agricultural strategies based on sustainable technologies, such as smart irrigation systems, soil quality improvement, and developing crop varieties resistant to drought and pests. Furthermore, supporting farmers through training, financing, and enhancing agricultural infrastructure plays a crucial role in reducing losses and improving production quality. Government policies also play an important role in regulating the market and ensuring food reaches vulnerable groups at affordable prices.<br /><br />Moreover, community awareness and education are vital in promoting healthy nutrition habits and conserving resources. Achieving Goal 2 in Iraq requires integrated cooperation between government sectors, the private sector, and civil society, along with leveraging international expertise to ensure food security sustainability and improve quality of life for future generations.
