This process involves capturing CO₂ emissions and chemically transforming them into hydrocarbons or alcohols that can serve as renewable fuels.<br /><br />Advanced catalysts and electrochemical methods powered by renewable energy are key enablers of this technology. By recycling CO₂, these methods reduce greenhouse gas levels and provide alternatives to fossil fuels, closing the carbon loop.<br /><br />Challenges include improving the energy efficiency of conversion processes, catalyst durability, and scaling up from laboratory to industrial levels.
