Summer Training Sessions Wrap Up at Al-Mustaqbal University with Exceptional Student Engagement

On Tuesday morning, August 19, 2025, Al-Mustaqbal University concluded its summer development programs organized by the Student Activities Department for the university’s students during the summer break. These programs aimed to invest students’ time in a stimulating educational environment while equipping them with practical and cognitive skills that help shape balanced personalities capable of meeting academic and professional life requirements.<br /><br />The final day featured three specialized workshops:<br /><br />Art of Drawing and Design<br /><br />Psychological Support Methods<br /><br />Aesthetics of Arabic Calligraphy<br /><br />The sessions witnessed remarkable engagement from participants who demonstrated great enthusiasm and a genuine desire to acquire new skills and experiences. At the conclusion of the activities, participation certificates were distributed to the students as a valuable addition to their future academic and research paths.<br /><br />Dr. Ahmed Hassan Shakir, Director of the Student Activities Department, emphasized that these programs represent a genuine investment in students’ potential, highlighting the university’s continuous efforts to provide innovative initiatives that meet youth aspirations and open broader avenues for creativity and capacity building.<br /><br />The workshops on the final day were delivered by Assistant Professor Ahmed Hameed Lafta, faculty member at the College of Fine Arts and Rapporteur of the Design Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, along with calligrapher and teaching assistant Mousa Diaa Alaq from the same department.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to offering pioneering initiatives that enhance students’ presence both academically and within the community.<br /><br />Almustaqbal University, The First University in Iraq.
