Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University, and under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Law, the College of Law organized a cultural seminar on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, entitled “Women’s Affairs and Their Applications under Iraqi Legislation”, delivered by Dr. Abdulrahman Abbas Adain.<br /><br />The seminar was attended by a number of professors and students of the College of Law.<br /><br />The lecturer addressed Iraq’s commitment to international conventions on women’s rights, noting that the Iraqi legislator has taken into account the principles of human rights and international agreements.<br /><br />The seminar also discussed the most important legal provisions related to women’s rights in Iraqi legislation, with a focus on their practical applications in the fields of family, labor, and society, in addition to examining the challenges facing the effective implementation of these rights.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University – the top private university in Iraq.
