Scientific Workshop for Anesthesia Students on the Anesthesia machine and Endotracheal Intubation Techniques

As part of the ongoing series of scientific activities organized by the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University, an educational workshop was held under the title:<br />“Introduction to the Anesthesia Machine, Its Components, and Endotracheal Intubation.”<br />The workshop was presented by the department’s teaching assistants: <br />Lina Alaa Hussein, Estabraq Rasool Hussein, and Huda Mohammed Salman, with the participation of third-year students.<br /><br />The workshop comprised two main components:<br /><br />Theoretical Component:<br />Included a detailed explanation of the anesthesia machine, its components, and how it functions, in addition to the fundamental principles of endotracheal intubation and its clinical indications.<br /><br />Practical Component:<br />Focused on hands-on training for students on operating the anesthesia machine and performing endotracheal intubation using educational manikins.<br /><br />This activity aims to enhance students’ clinical skills and prepare them for real-world hospital practice, in alignment with modern medical education standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly:<br /><br />- Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being<br />- Goal 4: Quality Education<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University<br />The First University in Iraq.
