"Within the framework of striving to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being."<br />Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Aesthetic and Laser Technologies at the College of Health & Medical Technologies organized an online workshop entitled:<br />“Cosmetics and Environmental Pollution: Mutual Impacts and Innovative Solutions”, held on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, via Google Meet.<br /><br />The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Hashem Abbas, Head of the Department of Aesthetic and Laser Technologies, who addressed the reciprocal relationship between the cosmetic sector and environmental pollution, highlighting modern solutions and innovative approaches to reduce these negative impacts.<br /><br />The session was managed by Ms. Shahad Nours Abbas and student Milad Sabah Talib, and was attended by a distinguished audience of faculty members and students who enriched the discussion with their valuable contributions.<br />This workshop comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to raise environmental awareness and integrate academic knowledge with sustainable solutions that serve the community.<br />Al _ Mustaqbal University, the first university in Iraq
