The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University, held an online workshop titled “Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)”, presented by Professor Abbas Sabri Al-Zuba’i, as part of a series of preparatory activities in anticipation of participating in the Sustainability Camp scheduled for October 4–5, 2025.<br /><br />The workshop addressed important scientific topics, including the mechanisms of virus transmission, modern prevention and treatment methods, as well as highlighting the health and social challenges associated with it. It also provided students with the opportunity for direct interaction and discussion, contributing to the enrichment of their scientific knowledge and linking theoretical concepts with practical applications.<br /><br />The organization of this workshop aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s mission to support scientific activities and raise students’ awareness of global health issues, thereby contributing to achieving the third Sustainable Development Goal: ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University<br />The First university in Iraq.
