The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held an online workshop titled “Smoking and Its Relation to Anesthesia Dosage”, presented by Professor Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairi, as part of the department’s preparations for participating in the Sustainability Camp.<br /><br />The workshop was attended by a number of students and department staff. It discussed the scientific effects of smoking on different anesthesia dosages and the importance of precise dosage to achieve safe and effective outcomes during medical procedures. The workshop also contributed to enhancing scientific knowledge and linking theoretical concepts with practical applications, in line with the university’s vision of supporting scientific activities and raising students’ awareness of key health issues, thereby contributing to the third Sustainable Development Goal: ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University <br />The First University in Iraq.
