"As part of the efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being As part of the College of Medical and Health Technologies / Department of Aesthetics and Laser efforts to enhance scientific knowledge and develop students’ laboratory skills, a scientific workshop entitled “Fundamentals of Sterilization in Scientific Laboratories” was conducted by (Asst. Lecturer Saja Falah Hassan). The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the basic concepts of sterilization in laboratories and the importance of applying proper practices to ensure the safety of laboratory personnel and the accuracy of experimental results. It also included an explanation of various sterilization methods, the types of equipment used, and preventive measures against laboratory contamination. This workshop is part of the department’s ongoing scientific and training activities designed to promote professional awareness among students and to strengthen the principles of safe laboratory practices, in line with the goals of applied education and academic quality assurance.
