College of Nursing Organizes an Awareness Campaign on the Dangers of Smart Device Addiction at Al-Mustaqbal University

The College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign on campus to highlight the dangers of addiction to smart devices and their effects on mental and physical health, as well as on individual behavior. The campaign was supervised by Dr. Ismail Mohammed Al-Saadi, Head of the Basic Sciences Branch at the college, with the participation of a number of faculty members and third-year students. The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures to university students and visitors, containing guidance on the negative effects of excessive use of smart devices, methods to prevent digital addiction, and encouragement for students to balance technology use with real-world and social activities. Dr. Ismail Al-Saadi emphasized that this initiative comes as part of the College of Nursing’s commitment to promoting health awareness among students and spreading a culture of safe and responsible use of modern technologies. He pointed out that addiction to smart devices represents one of the contemporary behavioral challenges that requires joint educational and health efforts to address. The campaign received wide interaction and positive feedback from students and visitors, who expressed their interest in the information presented and stressed the importance of such initiatives in promoting health awareness within the university community.
