Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the College of Nursing actively participated in the first day of the “Future Ambassadors for Sustainability” camp, organized by the university with wide participation from students and academic staff across various colleges. The College of Nursing’s participation was marked by great enthusiasm and interaction, as its faculty members and students took part in various activities and awareness workshops focusing on health and environmental sustainability and the role of nursing in promoting community awareness about health and environmental issues. Through its informative booth, the college also showcased student projects and ideas aimed at spreading the culture of sustainable health and emphasizing the vital role of nurses in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. This participation reflects the College of Nursing’s commitment to actively contributing to university initiatives that enhance environmental and community awareness, and to reinforcing the principles of responsibility, integration, and the connection between nursing knowledge and sustainability.
