As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to promote the principles of sustainable development and strengthen community partnerships, the College of Nursing participated in the Sustainability Camp activities, held under the direction of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, at the Babylon Tourist Resort.
As part of the camp’s events, the College of Nursing set up a medical tent for measuring visitors’ vital signs, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and Body Mass Index (BMI). The event saw active participation from the visiting Dutch delegation, who interacted with the medical services and joined the nursing staff in conducting examinations and measurements — a scene that embodied the spirit of cooperation and teamwork between both sides.
The provision of health services was supervised by a distinguished team from the college, including:
Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kazem Al-Saadi
Dr. Rehab Faleh Al-Shukri
University Nurse Jaber Mahmoud
University Nurse Mohammed Ali Hassan
University Nurse Hassan Najm Ubaid
The college’s participation was distinguished by high-level organization and professional performance, reflecting a positive image of the nursing staff at Al-Mustaqbal University and highlighting the college’s role in community service and health awareness promotion among various social groups.
This participation comes within the framework of the university’s vision to enhance applied learning, support field health initiatives, and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through scientific and humanitarian activities that serve both the individual and society.
