Under the Patronage of the President of Future University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the Direct Supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Department of Smart Medical Systems organized a scientific workshop titled: “The Patient’s Digital Twin: A New Model for Disease Simulation and Diagnosis.” The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Maitham Nabil Miqdad and focused on the concept of the Digital Twin in the medical field, highlighting its role in analyzing biometric data, simulating patient responses, and supporting intelligent medical decision-making through Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. The sessions included scientific discussions on how to implement this model to develop smart healthcare systems and enhance the quality of future medical care. The workshop was attended by faculty members and students interested in the applications of AI in medicine. This event is part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Department of Smart Medical Systems, supporting the university’s vision to promote scientific research and the application of modern technologies in healthcare.
