Sustainability Ambassadors Camp at Babel Tourist Resort, featuring active participation from the Smart Medical Systems Department in the College of Science.
The camp comes as part of the university’s efforts to promote a culture of sustainability among students and the local community, offering a series of awareness activities and scientific workshops focused on the importance of environmental and health sustainability and its practical applications in daily life.
The camp was inaugurated by the Governor of Babel and President of the University of the Future, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, who emphasized the university’s and local community’s support for sustainability initiatives, as well as the importance of equipping students with leadership and scientific skills in this vital field.
During the camp, the Smart Medical Systems Department presented interactive workshops and demonstrations on applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare and ways to improve the quality of medical services sustainably, raising students’ awareness of technological innovation and social responsibility.
This camp aligns with the university’s vision to enhance sustainability awareness among youth, preparing them to become ambassadors of positive change in their communities while linking academic education with practical real-life applications.
