Under the Patronage of the President of Future University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the Supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Department of Smart Medical Systems organized an awareness campaign titled: “Addiction… A Deadly Isolation.” The campaign aimed to raise students’ awareness of the dangers of various types of addiction, including drug and substance abuse, digital, psychological, and medication-related addiction, due to their severe impact on physical, mental, and social health. The campaign featured educational posters and interactive awareness materials highlighting the risks of addiction and ways to prevent falling into its trap. It also included dialogue and guidance sessions discussing the role of families and the university in protecting youth from this phenomenon. The organizers emphasized that the campaign’s goal is to build a healthy and safe university environment that helps prevent negative behaviors and encourages students to adopt balanced and sustainable lifestyles, in line with Future University’s mission to serve the community and promote a culture of awareness, responsibility, and sustainability.
