Under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, the Department of Forensic Evidence organized a special celebration on the occasion of Iraq’s National Day, held on Friday, October 3, 2025. The celebration took place at the Sports Complex (Kardous Building), with active participation from students and staff. The event featured cultural and artistic performances that embodied the spirit of unity, patriotism, and pride in Iraq’s rich history and heritage. In his speech, the University President emphasized the importance of strengthening national identity and civic values among students, reaffirming that Al-Mustaqbal University continues to serve as a beacon for unity, cultural diversity, and community peace, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal 4: Quality Education Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities This event is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to embed the principles of sustainability within academic and community life and to inspire students to contribute to a peaceful and sustainable future for Iraq.
