Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and with the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, the College of Medicine organized a scientific workshop on hematological disorders titled: "Hereditary Anemia" The workshop was presented by Dr. Widad Hamza Shukir, who discussed the definition of hereditary anemia, its types, causes, and risk factors. The session also highlighted the latest approaches in diagnosis and treatment, in addition to preventive strategies and awareness programs aimed at reducing the spread of these conditions within the community. This workshop aims to enhance students' health awareness and expand their scientific knowledge regarding genetic diseases and their impact on the health of individuals and society. This initiative comes as part of the college's continuous efforts to support medical education and scientific research, and to reinforce its role in promoting health awareness in the community.
