in pursuit of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, the Head of the Department of Aesthetic and Laser Technologies organized a scientific workshop entitled: “University Systems and Student Discipline Between Legal Text and Practical Application.” The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Hashem Abbas, Head of the Department of Aesthetic and Laser Technologies. It covered several key topics, including: the Student Discipline Law, students’ duties, rights, and disciplinary penalties. Dr. Abbas explained the legal foundations of the Student Discipline Law, based on Articles (37) and (47) of the Law of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (40) of 1988. She emphasized the importance of promoting legal awareness among students to ensure their commitment to university regulations and to foster an academic environment characterized by discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect. At the conclusion of the workshop, a discussion session was opened for students to share their opinions and inquiries on the topic, aiming to strengthen legal culture within the university campus.
