Faculty Member from the College of Dentistry Participates as a Speaker in an International Seminar on Managing Poliovirus Risk

Prof. Dr. Saad Hassan Mohammed Ali, faculty member at the College of Dentistry, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated as one of the speakers in the scientific seminar titled “Closing the Loop: Building Bridges Through Integrated Clinical and Public Health Strategies for Managing Poliovirus Risk in Immunocompromised Patients.” The seminar highlighted the importance of collaboration between clinical care and public health sectors in preventing the spread of poliovirus, especially among immunocompromised patients, through integrated strategies that combine early diagnosis, preventive care, and health education. Prof. Dr. Saad Hassan presented a scientific lecture on the latest clinical approaches to infection risk management, emphasizing the need for stronger coordination between clinicians and public health institutions to ensure effective response and prevent the reemergence of the virus. This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting scientific research and international cooperation, while reinforcing the active role of its faculty in promoting health awareness and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being.
