As part of the scientific and awareness activities encouraged by the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, Mr. Ali Qasim from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques distributed educational brochures titled "Ultrasound Guided IV, Made Easy", aimed at raising students’ awareness and knowledge about using ultrasound devices to facilitate intravenous (IV) catheter insertion with greater accuracy and safety. The brochures included simplified information supported by illustrative images explaining the mechanism of the technique, its practical steps, and the clinical benefits of using ultrasound in anesthesia procedures and nursing practices. This initiative comes in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which seeks to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all by enhancing the skills and competencies of healthcare professionals and improving their use of modern medical technologies. Mr. Ali Qasim emphasized that this initiative is part of the department’s efforts to strengthen the practical aspect of students’ education and encourage them to keep pace with modern developments in the medical field, contributing to the preparation of qualified healthcare professionals capable of providing high-quality services.
