The workshop addressed the definition of the rabies virus, the ways it is transmitted to humans through infected animals, the symptoms that appear in infected individuals, as well as modern methods of prevention and treatment, and the importance of health awareness in reducing the spread of this dangerous disease. Prof. Dr. Younis Abdul Ridha also emphasized the importance of adhering to preventive measures such as avoiding contact with stray animals, taking preventive vaccinations when exposed, and promoting health awareness in the community to reduce infections.
