In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, the Department of Industrial College Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Future University, organized a specialized scientific competition on kidney health. This event was part of its participation in the Future Sustainability Camp held at Babil Tourist Resort.
The competition centered on presenting educational scientific questions related to kidney functions, anatomy, and ways to maintain their health, aiming to enhance the health and scientific culture among visitors and encourage them to engage with medical information in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
The questions covered various topics, most notably the role of the kidneys in blood purification and regulating the balance of fluids and salts in the body, in addition to prevention methods for kidney diseases through proper nutrition and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
The competition witnessed broad participation and remarkable interaction from visitors and students, contributing to embedding medical information in an interactive manner that combines knowledge and sustainability. This reflects the Department of Industrial College Technologies’ commitment to spreading health awareness and reinforcing sustainability concepts in the medical field.
