Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, and under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Sami Abdul-Hussein Habana, Head of the Department of Forensic Evidence, the Department of Forensic Evidence organized a distinguished Crime Scene Simulation event with active participation from its students.
The activity aimed to apply the scientific and practical skills acquired by students in the field of criminal investigation through a realistic simulation of a complete crime scene. The exercise included stages of evidence collection, fingerprint analysis, crime scene photography, and technical reporting.
Students demonstrated a high level of professionalism and precision in handling forensic evidence, reflecting the strength and quality of academic training provided at Al-Mustaqbal University.
The Dean of the College of Science emphasized that such hands-on activities play a crucial role in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical experience, in alignment with the university’s mission to prepare qualified graduates capable of serving society and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
