Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new academic milestone by winning the First Distinguished University Award on the Day of Science for 2022, as well as the First Distinguished University Award for 2023, confirming its leading position in the quality of higher education, scientific research, and academic innovation. The book titled “Insights in Research,” authored by Professor Dr. Nidal Al-Abadi, won the Third Distinguished Award for 2022, while the volunteer work of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rubaie received the Second Distinguished Award, as part of the Day of Science celebrations organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The award ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on Monday, December 30, 2024, in the presence of several university presidents and distinguished researchers. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, affirmed that these awards reflect the efforts of the university’s faculty members, staff, and students in achieving academic and research excellence. He noted that the university continues to strengthen its scientific standing in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and international quality standards. Professor Hassan Shakir Majdi also added that Al-Mustaqbal University achieved first place in the Iraqi National Ranking, in addition to securing advanced positions in both the Green Matrix and Arab University Rankings, reflecting its excellence and distinction among higher education institutions in Iraq.
