The Anesthesia Techniques Department team at the College of Health and Medical Technologies achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning first place in the AI Applications in Sustainable Development Hackathon, under the category of Health, Nutrition, and Healthcare Systems. The event was held at Babel Tourist Resort from October 17 to 18, 2025, as part of the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp. This achievement was made possible under the supervision of Dr. Talib Chejan and the innovative efforts of student Haider Sadiq from the Anesthesia Techniques Department, who presented an outstanding project combining artificial intelligence technologies with medical sustainability concepts. The project aims to develop an intelligent system that contributes to enhancing healthcare efficiency and improving the quality of medical services in line with sustainable development goals. The winning team was crowned at the closing ceremony of the camp by Mr. Adnan Fayhan, Governor of Babel, and Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al Mustaqbal University, in recognition of their remarkable achievement and innovative efforts.
