With great pride, Al-Mustaqbal University announced its achievement in winning the “Top Private University” award in Iraq for 2024, reaffirming its leadership in the private higher education sector for the fourth consecutive year, after previously receiving the same award in 2022 and 2023. This accomplishment reflects the university’s continued commitment to academic excellence, scientific research, and community service. During the Iraq Education Conference 2025, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research from October 11 to 13, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, was presented with the award by His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of a distinguished group of deputies, advisors, university presidents, experts, and academics from Iraq and abroad. The award was granted based on rigorous criteria, including: • National ranking results of Iraqi universities, • The university’s position in prestigious international rankings, • Academic and research reputation, • The number of scientific publications and citations in international journals. In the overall ranking of private universities, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University came second, while Al-Maaref University College ranked third. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi expressed his pride and joy in this achievement, congratulating the faculty, staff, and students of Al-Mustaqbal University.
