Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Department of Industrial College Technologies, organized an awareness campaign titled “The Role of Women in Sustainable Development.” The campaign was held within the framework of implementing the institutional reform and participation pillar (Paragraph 10: Gender Equality), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sahira Qahtan, Head of the Division, and carried out by Asst. Lecturer Zainab Ali Mohsen and Ms. Tabarak Ahmed Turki on November 3, 2025. The campaign included distributing brochures within the university campus to female students with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of gender equality and highlighting the pivotal role of women in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. It also emphasized the importance of empowering women in the labor market and encouraging their active participation in decision-making processes that impact society.
