Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji, Dean of the College of Medicine, the College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a comprehensive online workshop on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, with the participation of all faculty and staff members. The workshop aimed to discuss the main academic and administrative aspects and to evaluate the overall progress of work during the current period.
The workshop commenced with an opening speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji, Dean of the College, who welcomed the academic staff and participants, commending their efforts in enhancing academic and administrative performance. He emphasized the Dean’s Office commitment to continuous communication and close follow-up of all college activities to ensure the achievement of its goals in alignment with the vision of the university’s presidency.
The workshop included several key topics. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marwa Fadel Al-Saffar, the Scientific Assistant Dean, presented a detailed report on the ongoing preparations for the midterm examinations. Dr. Aseel Hashim Radi, the Administrative Assistant Dean, discussed the college’s recent activities and administrative affairs. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ne’ma Hassouni Mahdi, Head of the Scientific Committee, reviewed the college’s scientific and research plan along with its future development strategies.
Dr. Ban Zaher Thubayeh, Head of the Assessment and Evaluation Unit, presented a report on the progress and performance of the examinations, followed by Dr. Zaid Saad Abdul Madi, representing the Examination Committee, who discussed the committee’s performance and the organizational procedures followed during the examination period.
Furthermore, Dr. Zahraa Tariq Hassoun, representing the College Council Secretariat, presented a report outlining the council’s recommendations concerning the academic staff. Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Mazhar Araibi, Head of the Research Unit, also presented a report on the unit’s mechanisms of work and its efforts to promote and encourage scientific research among faculty members and students.
At the end of the session, the Dean expressed his sincere appreciation to all participants and to the teaching and administrative staff for their continuous efforts. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in order to achieve the college’s objectives and to enhance its academic and administrative standards in a manner that supports the progress of the educational process.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of integration and cooperation among the college’s units to achieve the desired development and to continue the path of excellence that the College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University consistently pursues within its strategic objectives.
