In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, a workshop titled “Modern Educational Methods and Adaptation to Contemporary Changes” was held and presented by M.Sc. Hayman Waleed Mazloum from the Department of Cosmetic and Laser Technologies.
The workshop aimed to shed light on the latest contemporary educational approaches and emphasize the importance of keeping pace with rapid developments in the educational field to prepare a generation capable of facing future challenges with flexibility and competence.
The main topics discussed included:
The concept, foundations, and principles of modern education.
The importance of developing students’ critical and creative thinking skills.
The role of modern technology in supporting and improving the educational process.
Mechanisms for adapting to social and technological changes within the learning environment.
The importance of building a positive relationship between teacher and student to promote an effective learning atmosphere.
The lecturer emphasized the need to apply modern educational practices in academic institutions to achieve educational quality, enhance innovation, and promote sustainability within higher education systems.
At the conclusion of the workshop, an open discussion was held, allowing participants to exchange ideas and opinions on the best methods to develop educational practices in line with modern requirements.
