In accordance with the directives of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Department of Industrial College Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a scientific workshop entitled “World Antibiotic Awareness Week” on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Younis Abdul Ridha Al-Khafaji, Head of the Department, and Dr. Muslim Mohammed Mousa. It covered scientific and educational topics highlighting the importance of the rational use of antibiotics, the dangers of antimicrobial resistance to human health, and the role of academic institutions in promoting health awareness and fostering a culture of safe medication use. This workshop comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to support health and educational programs and to contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
