The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held a practical workshop on Thursday, October 23rd, entitled “First Aid for Choking and Airway Management,” presented by Mr. Ali Qasim Jawad. The workshop included a detailed explanation of proper procedures for managing choking cases of various causes and methods of securing the airway for patients using modern medical tools and techniques. It also featured hands-on training in which students of the department participated to strengthen their clinical skills in dealing with emergency situations within healthcare environments. This workshop aimed to enhance the skills of anesthesia technology students and provide them with the essential competencies in emergency care and immediate patient response, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to promote applied education and prepare qualified healthcare professionals capable of handling critical cases.
