The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held a scientific workshop on Thursday, October 30th, entitled “Spinal Anesthesia and How to Prepare for It,” presented by Mr. Ali Qasim Jawad. The workshop covered the concept of spinal anesthesia and its importance in surgical procedures, explaining the essential steps of preparation and the procedures required before, during, and after administration. It also included a practical demonstration showing how to prepare and manage patients safely and professionally. The aim of this workshop was to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of anesthesia technology students in understanding both the theoretical and clinical foundations of spinal anesthesia, and to strengthen their ability to apply anesthesia techniques in accordance with modern medical standards. This aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of promoting applied education and preparing qualified healthcare professionals capable of improving the quality of medical services.
