The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held an awareness lecture on the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, presented by Dr. Furqad Saleh, with the aim of promoting health awareness among students about the importance of early detection in the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer. The lecture discussed the main risk factors for breast cancer, methods of prevention, and the importance of regular screening, emphasizing that early detection is the most crucial factor in increasing recovery rates and reducing complications. The session also included interactive discussions between the students and Dr. Saleh on health education methods and the role of future healthcare professionals in spreading community awareness. This activity comes as part of the department’s efforts to enhance health awareness and social responsibility among its students, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of supporting health and community initiatives.
