On Saturday, October 19th, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim from the Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University carried out an awareness campaign by distributing informative brochures about the dangers of smoking and its impact on anesthesia at Babel Resort. The brochures included scientific information on the effects of smoking on general health and its negative impact on the effectiveness of anesthesia during surgical procedures, along with tips and guidance on reducing smoking and preventing its risks. This initiative aims to raise health awareness among the community and emphasize the importance of preventive health measures, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of promoting health education and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
