The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held an awareness activity on Saturday, October 25th, 2026, titled “Scientific Brochure”, focusing on sickle cell anemia and the importance of recognizing and preventing it. The activity was presented by Mr. Hussein Shaddad Hamad and Mr. Zaid Fadel Rasool, during which brochures were distributed containing accurate scientific information about the causes of sickle cell anemia, its symptoms, methods of prevention, and the importance of early awareness and detection. This activity aims to raise health awareness among the community and students regarding sickle cell anemia, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which seeks to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all.
