The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held an awareness activity on Monday, October 27th, titled “Scientific Brochure”, highlighting the importance of folic acid and its health and preventive benefits for the body. The activity was conducted by Mr. Hussein Shaddad Hamad and Mr. Zaid Fadel Rasool, during which brochures were distributed containing detailed scientific information about the role of folic acid in preventing anemia and chronic diseases, its dietary sources, and the importance of maintaining normal levels for better health. This activity aims to enhance health awareness among students and the community regarding the vital role of folic acid in overall health, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which seeks to ensure healthy lives and promote health consciousness for everyone.
