The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness lecture on October 20 entitled “Apgar Score for Pediatric”, presented by Mr. Hassan Najeh to third-stage students of the department. The lecture discussed the importance of the Apgar Score in assessing the health condition of newborns during the first minutes after birth, explaining the five main indicators, their scoring system, and clinical interpretation. This activity comes in line with the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-being), which aims to promote maternal and newborn health and strengthen students’ understanding of proper healthcare practices. The lecture concluded with a productive scientific discussion between the lecturer and students, reflecting their keen interest in developing clinical skills in neonatal care.
