The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held a scientific workshop on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, entitled “Towards Effective Educational Guidance and Psychological Support in Universities”, presented by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairi, Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques. The workshop discussed several educational and psychological topics highlighting the importance of academic and psychological counseling in the university environment, its role in improving students’ performance and supporting their mental health, as well as strategies for developing communication skills and fostering positive relationships between faculty and students to create a supportive and motivating learning environment. The workshop was attended by the faculty members of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques along with the staff of the College of Health and Medical Technologies. The session witnessed active participation and valuable discussions, emphasizing the significance of such events in enhancing academic development and promoting students’ psychological and educational well-being.
