The Department of Anesthesia Techniques organized an online scientific workshop as part of a series of specialized workshops held by the department entitled “Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Causes Symptoms and Methods of Prevention and Treatment” delivered by Dr Talib Jeijan The workshop addressed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome as one of the most common hand disorders which occurs due to compression of the median nerve in the wrist area within a narrow passage known as the carpal tunnel The lecturer discussed the main causes of this condition such as repetitive hand movements and prolonged use of electronic devices in addition to modern diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to reduce its impact This workshop comes as part of the department’s commitment to promoting health awareness and preventive culture among students and professionals in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals particularly Goal 3 Good Health and Well Being which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well being for all at all ages.
