The Department of Anesthesia Techniques organized an online scientific workshop entitled “Research Methods / How to Get Your Work Published”, delivered by Professor Dr. Mohammed Abu Al-Soud, as part of a series of developmental workshops held by the department to enhance research skills among students and faculty members. The workshop addressed the scientific foundations of academic research methodologies and the mechanisms of preparing research papers in accordance with international publication standards. It also covered the essential steps for selecting appropriate peer-reviewed journals and meeting the requirements of reputable scientific publishing. Dr. Abu Al-Soud also provided practical guidance on avoiding common mistakes in writing research papers, emphasizing the importance of academic integrity and adherence to research ethics to ensure the quality of scientific output. The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairee, Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, who commended the significance of such scientific activities in developing the skills of academic staff and students, and their role in elevating the level of scientific research in the medical and technical fields.
