Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and with the direct supervision of the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sami Abdul-Hussein Habbana, the department organized a distinguished field activity titled “Crime Scene”, presented by a group of its students as part of the Future Ambassadors Sustainability Camp.
The activity took place at Babel Resort on Friday and Saturday, October 17–18, 2025, aiming to enhance students’ practical skills by simulating real-life forensic investigation procedures based on scientific standards. It also highlighted the importance of community security as a core element of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
Students delivered a comprehensive demonstration of crime scene handling, including evidence collection, fingerprint lifting, and sample analysis—strengthening their applied skills and linking theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This activity is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to empower students, encourage innovation, and support the university’s vision toward sustainable education.
