Students from the Forensic Evidence Department, College of Sciences – Al-Mustaqbal University, took part in the Running Marathon held under the patronage of the Governor of Babylon, Mr. Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi, and the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and with the direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani and the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sami Abdul-Hussein Habbana.
This activity was organized as part of the department’s participation in the Future Ambassadors Sustainability Camp, hosted at Babel Resort on Friday and Saturday, October 17–18, 2025. The marathon aimed to promote teamwork, physical well-being, and community engagement among students—key pillars of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
The participating students expressed great enthusiasm for joining the marathon, affirming that such activities contribute to building their leadership skills, fostering teamwork, and supporting the university’s vision to encourage youth involvement in sustainability and extracurricular initiatives.
