The workshop addressed the concept of energy harvesting and its importance in utilizing renewable natural resources to generate electrical power, such as solar energy, wind energy, and kinetic energy produced by human movement and the surrounding environment. Prof. Dr. Silwan Ubaid Waheed also discussed the latest technologies used in energy harvesting systems and their role in reducing dependence on traditional sources and protecting the environment, while highlighting practical applications of these technologies in industrial, agricultural, and community sectors. The workshop featured fruitful discussions and valuable contributions from participants, emphasizing the importance of supporting research projects aimed at developing sustainable solutions to energy challenges in Iraq and around the world.
