The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Fatima Al-Zahraa Adnan Rahi, and it addressed the vital role of women in building both the family and society, as well as their active contribution to achieving sustainable development across various fields. This event was organized within the activities of the Women Empowerment Committee, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically: Goal 5: Gender Equality Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities The workshop also discussed the challenges faced by women in the fields of work and education, emphasizing the importance of empowering women to participate in decision-making and to enhance their position in society. The session witnessed active engagement and valuable contributions from participants, who affirmed that women’s empowerment is a fundamental step toward a balanced and progressive society.
