In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and as part of the voluntary activities and awareness programs implemented by the Department of Industrial Dialysis Technologies, a volunteer campaign was organized to distribute health brochures titled “Is Your Kidney Healthy? Do You Check Your Kidney?”. The campaign was supervised by the department rapporteur, Asst. Lecturer Zainab Ali Mohsen, with the participation of Ms. Tabarak Ahmed Turki Al-Azzaoui. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early kidney screening, introduce risk factors that may lead to chronic kidney diseases, and encourage students to adopt healthy behaviors that contribute to the prevention and protection of kidney health. The activity included distributing informative brochures across the university campus, along with providing simplified explanations to students on the importance of regular medical check-ups and the impact of lifestyle habits on kidney function. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to enhancing health awareness among students, supporting preventive efforts, and reinforcing the concept of prioritizing health as an essential part of university life.
