As part of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on Quality Education, and in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment—as the No.1 university in Iraq—to enhancing the educational environment and raising students’ awareness of academic regulations, the Department of Aesthetic Techniques organized an orientation workshop on the student attendance system. The workshop was presented by *Ms. Shahad NAWRAS Abbas*on **November 5, 2025**, with the participation of a group of students from the department. It aimed to explain the attendance requirements, clarify the difference between excused and unexcused absences, and highlight their impact on the student’s academic standing. The presenter also reviewed the mechanism for monitoring attendance electronically through the **SIS system**, along with the procedures applied to students who exceed the allowed absence percentage, ensuring strengthened academic discipline and improved educational quality. The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion in which Ms. Shahad answered students’ questions, emphasizing the importance of attendance in enhancing academic performance and achieving a comprehensive learning environment that meets standards of quality and excellence.
