The Department of Anesthesia Technology at the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, Al Mustaqbal University, organized a special lecture in celebration of World Anesthesia Day on October 27. The lecture, titled “Myths and Misconceptions in Anesthetic,” was delivered by Dr. Maher Hussein, Consultant Anesthesiologist and Head of the Intensive Care Unit at Al-Imam Al-Sadiq Teaching Hospital, and Prof. Dr. Aqeel Hanthal. It addressed common myths and misconceptions in the field of anesthesia, providing students and attendees with up-to-date scientific knowledge. This event reflects the department’s commitment to disseminating scientific knowledge and developing students’ skills, contributing to promoting good health and well-being for all, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as well as raising awareness about safe and modern anesthesia practices.
