The department organized an online workshop titled **“Empowering Women in the Modern Workplace,”**
presented by **Asst. Lecturer Narmeen Moayen Hamadi**, with the participation of a group of faculty members, researchers, and individuals interested in women’s empowerment and professional skill development.
The workshop addressed the key challenges facing women in the labor market and the mechanisms adopted to enhance their participation in administrative and leadership positions. It also highlighted successful local and international experiences in supporting and empowering women professionally.
The workshop further emphasized the importance of a supportive environment within modern institutions, as well as the role of continuous training, flexible work policies, and professional development programs in enabling women to perform their roles efficiently and effectively, especially amid rapid digital transformation.
The event witnessed strong engagement from participants, who provided valuable insights on ways to enhance women's participation across various sectors, affirming that empowering women has become a fundamental factor in boosting productivity and achieving sustainable development.
