The Department of Building and Construction Technologies / Evening Studies organized an awareness activity about the dangers of drugs and their impact on individuals and society, with the participation of instructors Mr. Baneen, Ms. Walaa, and Ms. Tamar, and the attendance of a group of students. The activity included an explanation of the most common types of drugs and their psychological and physical risks, in addition to discussing their social consequences such as reduced productivity, family issues, and increased crime rates. The speakers emphasized the vital role of youth in promoting awareness and preventing addiction through healthy behavior and informed choices. This activity comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of prevention and encourage students to face behavioral challenges with knowledge and awareness.
