“Drugs: A Threat to Individuals and Society” Workshop for Second-Year Students in Support of the Sustainable Development Goals
On 2025/11/16, at 10:00 AM, a workshop titled “Drugs: A Threat to Individuals and Society” was held for second-year students, delivered by Dr. Hussein Khadem Halwas.
The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, its physical, psychological, and social impacts, and the importance of preventive measures. It also highlighted the role of educational institutions in promoting awareness and fostering a safe and healthy university environment.
This workshop supports the university’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
